In this episode, Jaquelle and Sean talk about Jonathan Edwards — who he was and why he’s relevant for Christian young people. They also talk about apple picking, Jaquelle’s cold, and the book Sean’s reading with his friends.

JOHN EDWARDS!!! No! 😉
You should really do an episode on JC Ryle (John Charles!) – and talk about Holiness and Thoughts for Young Men.
That would be really great!
Oh and, just bought Covenantal Apologetics 😉
Nice. Let me know what you think about it, Zach.
Hmmmmmmmmm
I was just going to email you guys and suggest a Jonathan Edwards episode! Can’t wait to listen to this and read the resources, also the company I work might be making a bobble head of this great theologian! 🙂
Ok, Rebekah, first of all, I MUSTS have one of those. Secondly, what company do you work for?
I work for Top Christian Books, and they reached out to their followers for merch ideas and apparently a Jonathan Edwards bobble head was requested by a majority of the people. 🙂 If, and when they come out, I will be sure to send y’all one!
You rock, Rebekah!
I think you should totally do more episodes on theologians – this one was fantastic! I recently learned about Edwards in history, so it was cool to see what I remembered, and what facts were new. My Dad is a total Edwards fanatic, so I’ve been relatively well schooled in his history/theology. However, I did not know that he was only brother of 10 girls. I’ll have to pass that fact on to my brother – who is the only brother of 5 girls! And my sister just read ‘Edwards on the Christian Life’, so she’ll be happy to know you recommended it. I might just have to pick it up myself… Thanks for another great episode! 🙂
Oh, I really think you guys should do a Reformation episode! The 500th anniversary is coming up soon, and it would be awesome hear y’alls perspective on it!
Haha, just came on to comment and saw Hannah’s comment! I did just read Edwards and the Christian Life and it was super good! Totally recommend it. This was a very timely episode because, like Hannah said, we just study Edwards in history. Thank you guys for this episode, I really enjoyed it!
Hey guys just found this today and thought it was really encouraging!! Grace and peace from London Ontario
Hey, I know this is really late, but I’ve just been catching up on some episodes and wanted to say I really liked this one. I’m looking forward to the rest of the John series and will definitely check out some books on Johnathan Edwards. Thanks!
