Great overview of J.C. Ryle! I love Holiness (probably my favorite theology book). I think basically everything in that book is applicable to today.

Loved this! I’ve been reading Ryle’s Expository Thoughts on the Gospels for my daily devos this year (commentaries that I found at NovelTea Cafe in Truro, ha!) and my heart has been so blessed by his words! Adding Holiness to my list.
Just finished reading Thoughts for Young Men and I have to thank you for showing me this. It is so good, I have difficulty believing that this was written in 1886 and not last year.
I seriously want everyone in our HS services to read this. Especially the guys.
